When I was 12 years old, my father gave me a box of coloured pencils. From that moment on I have had a passion for drawing. I love to sit at a table and put all my ideas on paper.

In 1998 I began to draw more. And also in coloured pencil. First landscapes and still-life, but now mostly portraits. I have been taking commissions since 2000; most of these come by word of mouth but others through my website. I also give courses and workshops in my studio in Rotterdam (Holland) where I live with my husband and son.
